Digital Image Submission Requirements

(Compiled using the PAGB Projected Digital Images Standards for Events – April 2007)

1. The selected colour space should be sRGB

2. Image size should not exceed either - 1400pixels in width or 1050pixels in height
(NB If in portrait format the max. height will be 1050pixels)

3. File naming will be as described in the club rules or, for external competitions, as defined by the individual competition requirements.

4. File type should be – jpeg (saved at quality 12 or 100%)

5. File size is optional unless the competition is by web submission in which case a maximum size will be stated.

6. The submission media will be either by CD or USB flash memory. Images should be placed in the root folder unless otherwise requested. CDs should be of type RO and not RW. The CD should be finalised when the writing of data is completed.

7. The organiser reserves the right to reject entries incorrectly submitted.
(Every attempt will be made to correct isolated errors)

8. Data protection policy: Images from other clubs will be deleted from the projection PC at the end of the competition. A copy of the competition images will be kept on CD for future reference and a copy also given to the competing clubs.
